Privacy & Cookie Policy
This policy describes how personal data is processed when you visit raysilience.it or contact us through this website, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and applicable Italian data-protection law.
01Data controller
Raysilience S.r.l.
Via Sacco 9, 00015 Monterotondo (RM), Italy
VAT / P.IVA 18155891007 · REA RM-1765408
Email: main@raysilience.it
02What data we process
- Contact and demo-request forms — name, organisation, email address and the content of your message, provided voluntarily by you.
- Technical navigation data — the hosting and security infrastructure (Cloudflare) processes IP addresses and request metadata as strictly necessary to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse. We do not use this data to identify visitors.
We do not run analytics, advertising or profiling of any kind on this site.
03Purpose and legal basis
- Responding to your enquiry or demo request — processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given via the mandatory checkbox on the form, and on pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Site operation and security — processing of technical data is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in running a secure, functioning website.
All form fields are required to submit an enquiry; without them we cannot respond. Contacting us at all remains, of course, entirely optional.
04Recipients and processors
Data is not sold or shared for marketing. It is handled only by the controller and by the following service providers, acting as processors:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting (Cloudflare Pages) and anti-bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) on the contact forms.
- Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) — technical delivery of form submissions to our mailbox as email.
These providers may process data outside the EU/EEA (notably in the United States). Transfers rely on the safeguards provided by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses.
05Retention
Form submissions are kept only as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and any follow-up business relationship, after which they are deleted. Technical security logs are retained by our infrastructure provider for short periods per its own policies.
06Your rights
Under Articles 15–22 GDPR you may request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, restriction of or objection to processing, data portability, and you may withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal). To exercise any right, write to main@raysilience.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali.
07Cookies and local storage
This site does not use profiling, advertising or analytics cookies. The only elements used are strictly technical:
- Local storage (notice dismissal) — a single value saved in your browser to remember that you have closed the privacy notice, so it is not shown again. It contains no personal data and never leaves your device.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — the anti-bot check on the contact forms may use strictly necessary technical identifiers to distinguish humans from bots. Turnstile does not profile visitors or use data for advertising.
Because no profiling or third-party marketing cookies are used, no cookie-consent management is required; this section serves as the cookie notice required by Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and the Garante's guidelines.
08Changes
We may update this policy as the site or applicable law evolves. The date at the top reflects the latest revision.
